We are extremely proud to announce that one of our 8th grade students, Krystal Majid, was selected as the middle school winner for the Visual Arts division of the 2014-2015 Hillsborough County Public Schools Black History Month Student LEAD Contest. Krystal is an amazing artist and her inspiration for her artwork was the Honorable George Edgecomb.
As a result of her winning submission, Krystal was awarded several great prizes, to include: a $1500 college scholarship, a dell laptop, tickets to local professional sporting events and a few other fantastic prizes. Way to go
