Martinez Students,

If you would like to apply to join the Martinez National Junior Honor Society, the application forms are now available.  To view and print the NJHS application packet, please click on the link below...


ALL completed applications must be turned in to Mrs. Phillips in Room 424 NO LATER THAN Thursday, February 5th by 4:30pm.  No late submissions will be accepted.

The schedule for the application process is contained within the application packet.

All 6th & 7th Grade Students & Parents,

It's that time of year again...Time to start planning for next school year!
Students, as a part of that planning process, you will have the opportunity to select the elective courses that you would like to take for the 2015-2016 school year.  
Parents, all 6th and 7th grade students will be receiving a 2015-2016 Elective Course Selection Worksheet in their Homeroom class on Friday, January 30th.  Please be sure to ask to see your student's Elective Course Worksheet.  All students must complete the worksheet WITH THEIR PARENT.  Course descriptions can be viewed via the links displayed below.  
2015-2016 Elective Course Worksheets must be turned in during Homeroom ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2015.  
   
To view decriptions for all elective courses offered at our school, please click on the link that applies to your student's grade level (for the 2015-2016 school year).



Here are a few things to keep in mind prior to completing the Elective Course Worksheet...

  • ALL 6th & 7th grade students MUST complete the worksheet with their parent! A parent signature is required on the elective course worksheet.
  • Be sure to read the elective course descriptions carefully so that you can make the best choices for you and your situation.
  • Every 6th & 7th grade student MUST complete and hand in their 2015-2016 Elective Course Worksheet ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2015.

Tutoring
Students... do you need a little extra help with your math classes?

Mr. Wynn, Ms. Shea & Mr. Moskowitz are offering FREE math tutoring every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8:30am-9am in the following rooms:
Tuesdays - Mr. Wynn's Classroom (Room 311)
Thursdays - Ms. Shea's Classroom (Room 316)
Fridays - Mr. Moskowitz's Classroom (Room 308)

Students from any grade level are welcome to attend!

Students, if you would like to attend, please note...
Students may bring breakfast with them as long as they clean up their area when finished.  
Teachers and NJHS students will be available in these classrooms to help throughout the entire school year.  Please sign in when entering the room.
