2014 NJHS Application

Attention Martinez Parents and Students,

The application period for NJHS is from Monday, September 8th through Friday, September 19th.

Please note the following information:
** ONLY 7th and 8th graders who have been at Martinez for at least 1/2 a year can apply
** You are NOT automatically accepted; You must meet criteria and follow directions on application
** To be eligible all students must have:
  • a 3.5 grade point average
  • all A's in conduct
  • no suspensions while at Martinez
  • no other discipline/conduct issues documented in the office

Students... do you need a little extra help with your math classes?

Mr. Wynn, Ms. Shea & Mr. Moskowitz are offering FREE math tutoring every Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings from 8:30am-9am in the following rooms:
Tuesdays - Mr. Wynn's Classroom (Room 311)
Thursdays - Ms. Shea's Classroom (Room 316)
Fridays - Mr. Moskowitz's Classroom (Room 308)

Students from any grade level are welcome to attend!

Students, if you would like to attend, please note...
Students may bring breakfast with them as long as they clean up their area when finished.  
Teachers and NJHS students will be available in these classrooms to help throughout the entire school year.  Please sign in when entering the room.
